2Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in separate bowl.
3Stir in ½ cup chopped walnuts, 2 tsp grated lemon rind. Cream ½ cup butter or margarine and 1 cup sugar. Blend in 2 eggs and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with ½ cup milk (2 dry to 2 liquid). Pour into pan and bake for 60-65 mins or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 5 mins and glaze with ¼ cup sugar and 2 tbsp lemon juice in pan. Cool thoroughly and remove from pan
