Ingredients

1 lb Flour (4 cups)

1 Tin condensed milk

1 lb granulated sugar

1 lb ghee or oil

Cardomon

Ginger

Clove

Directions

1Mix flour with water to form stiff dough, roll dough, cut into thin strips and fry in ghee or oil. These must be crisp and lightly brown. Allow strips to cool and grind into flour. Blend sugar and one cup water, cook stirring constantly until it is of a thread consistency, spins a thread. Pour in condensed milk, spices and 4 oz ghee, stir briskly until mixture is stiff. Fold in ground flour and beat vigorously and thoroughly . Pour hot mixture into greased tray, when half cooked cut into squares.
