Oatmeal Shortbread

Ingredients

¾ cup Flour

2/3 cup Oats

½ cup Corn Starch

½ cup Icing Sugar

¾ cup Butter, softened

Directions

1Combine flour, oats, corn starch and icing sugar in large bowl

2With a large spoon, blend in butter

3Work with hands until you have a soft smooth dough

4Shape into a ball

5If necessary, refrigerate 30 minutes, or until easy to handle.

6Roll dough to ¼” thickness

7Cut into shapes with cookie cutter

8Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate if desired.

9Bake at 300 F for 15 to 25 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned
