Brown Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

Ingredients for 4 servings

2 Tbs. butter or margarine

1 cup uncooked brown rice

3 Tbs. chopped onion

3 Tbs. chopped celery

1 13 3/4-oz. can chicken broth

1/8 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

Preparation:

1In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add next 3 ingredients. Cook, stirring, 5 minutes. Pour broth into measuring cup and add enough water to equal 2 1/2 cups total. Add to saucepan with salt and pepper, bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 50 minutes.
