Barbecued Spareribs

Ingredients

I clove garlic, minced

I cup soy sauce

1/3 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup dry sherry

1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 1/2 to 3 lbs. spareribs

1/4 cup honey

2 teaspoons soy sauce

Directions

1MIX TOGETHER the first 5 ingredients.

2Marinate the ribs in this mixture for 4 hours no more. Arrange the ribs on a wire rack and place the rack over a pan of hot water.

3Bake in a 350-degree oven for one hour, turning ribs every 15 minutes, and basting with the marinade. Mix together the honey and the 2 teaspoons of soy sauce, and use this mixture to baste the ribs while they cook for 15 minutes more.
