1In pressure cooker heat Olive oil, add stewing beef and brown for a few minutes, place pressure cooker lid and heat for about 5 minutes with pressure.
2Release pressure, remove beef and add onions, brown onions while trying to release any stuck beef on bottom of pot.
Then
1Add carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes as well as cooked beef back to pot, mix all together over high heat, add water and Oxo and bring to boil.
2Add Barley and herbs and let boil for an hour and a half or until barley is tender.
