Breton Squares

Ingredients

Base:

1 cup graham crumbs

2 tbsp icing sugar

½ cup butter, melted

Top:

1 can condensed milk

2 cups shredded coconut

½ tsp vanilla

½ tsp almond extract

pinch salt

½ cup cherries, cut up

Icing:

2 cups icing sugar

¼ tsp vanilla

¼ tsp almond extract

3 tbsp butter

milk or cream

Directions

1Base: Grease sides of pan. Combine ingredients for base and press into 8x8” pan. Bake for 5 minutes at 325’f .

2Top: In a bowl combine ingredients for top and pour over base. Bake for 35 minutes.

3Icing: Combine ingredients and moisten with milk or cream
