Ingredients

Chicken

white meat of chicken 4-5 lb

2 tbsp V-H SOYA SAUCE

1 tsp ginger

3/4 tsp SIFTO salt

1 tsp garlic salt

1 cup blanched almonds

3 tbsp PLANTERS Peanut Oil

1 cup parsley

1 lemon

8 oz. jar V-H CHERRY SAUCE

BATTER DOUGH

2 eggs

1/2 cup FIVE ROSES all purpose flour

1 tsp SIFTO salt

1 tsp corn starch

1/2 tsp sugar

4 tbsp cold water

Directions

Chicken

1Bone chicken breasts, cut thin, large slices. Marinate chicken in SOYA SAUCE, ginger, salt and garlic salt 30 minutes. Stir-fry almonds in 3 tbsp peanut oil, drain and crush very fine, put in batter dough recipe No. 25. Dip chicken in batter and deep-fry in peanut oil at 3750F until golden brown. Decorate platter with parsley and sliced lemon. Serve with CHERRY SAUCE.

Batter dough

1Beat eggs with a fork, mix other ingredients with a fork, no beating. Let stand 10 minutes. Use this batter dough for chicken, fish, pork, meatballs, etc.
