Doubles – Bara

Ingredients

1 lb Flour (4 cups)

A few grains Garlic

½ Green pepper

½ tsp Lime juice or tamarind

1 tsp Yeast

2 tsp Salt

¾ tsp Saffron

½ tsp Gera (cumin)

1 cup water

Oil to fry

Directions

1Sift flour add salt, garlic, gera, pepper, lime juice, saffron and yeast.

2Mix into a very soft dough using about 1 cup of water.

3Leave to rest for 3 hours.

4Heat oil hot, stretch dough and fry
