Eggnog

Ingredients

12 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 ½ cups bourbon (cognac)

½ cup brandy

6 cups milk

1 ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

1 cup whipping cream

Directions

1At low speed beat egg yolks and sugar until blended, at high speed beat for 10 minutes. Add booze one tablespoon at a time. Cover bowl and chill. 20 minutes before serving, stir egg mixture, milk and nutmeg in 6 quart punch bowl. Beat egg whites until whipped, beat whipped cream until whipped, fold everything together in punch bowl. To serve sprinkle nutmeg on top.
